Moving Beyond Gender Issues in Leadership: a CPD Forum

Would you like to develop your leadership skills and workplace confidence?

Are you interested in learning more about de-gendering your school and workplace behaviours?

Would you enjoy free personal development and recruitment advice?

WLiEYandH and Skipton Girls’ High School would like to invite you to a free twilight CPD event that explores all of the above, as well as specific sessions on leadership models and gendered issues in education. Whether you are in the early stages of your career, or a senior leader, this event is open to you and has been designed to be inclusive to all people regardless of experience level, gender and background.

During this event, you will receive an inspirational and empowering key note speech from Professor Joan Loughrey (Law Professor at Leeds University) on the theme of gendered leadership and recruitment. Other speakers include Vicky Fox, who will incite interesting debate on biased leadership models, and Barnardo’s Positive Identities Service will deliver a contextual talk on gender identity issues facing young people and what we can do to address these in our school communities.

Canapés and coffees are awaiting you for what promises to be an interesting evening filled with discussion, debate and professional development.
